Melanie settled in Phnom Penh with her family in March 2016 and joined Uberis Capital in May. As Senior Investment Manager, Melanie leads local operations in Cambodia and much of our work with portfolio ventures.
She brings a background in both impact investing, and private and development sectors. She was previously Head of Investments for the Balkans office of Yunus Social Business, a social investment fund and incubator. Melanie also lived in Ethiopia and in DR-Congo where she served as a Project Manager at the United Nations World Food Programme, and was in charge of projects related to nutrition and agriculture. She began her career as a consultant for the Boston Consulting Group in their Paris office, and volunteered on engagements in fair-trade and microfinance. Melanie holds a M.Sc. in Industrial Engineering from the Ecole Centrale in Paris.
