WE DEPLOY DISTINCTIVE CAPABILITIES TO SUPPORT EXCEPTIONAL ENTREPRENEURS WHO ARE CREATING AND GROWING BREAKTHROUGH BUSINESSES IN SOUTHEAST ASIA
Based in Southeast Asia, our team includes experienced investors who live locally. We are intimately familiar with the opportunities and risks of our markets and close to our ventures to maximize support.
While our team is focused on Southeast Asia, it is a multi-national team with investment and business experience in Asia, Europe and North America.
We also have a base in Europe, close to investors and derive synergies from our distinctive Euro-Asia nature.
We believe in supporting ventures with hands-on support through their growth cycle.
This way, our value proposition is to help ventures grow from Seed Stage to later rounds of capital and maximize Enterprise Value creation.
As established impact investors in Southeast Asia, UBERIS often acts as a lead for co-investors, who provide flexible firepower to UBERIS in helping our ventures to scale fast.
We provide co-investors opportunities to select high potential investment targets from our robust regional screening and due diligence process.
Co-investing with UBERIS allows access to ventures on par with our investment terms and benefits from our collaborative approach with entrepreneurs.
As former entrepreneurs, we know what it takes to build an innovative enterprise from scratch in the difficult markets of Southeast Asia. Our experience helps our entrepreneurs build resilient ventures, navigate risks and scale businesses.
We are prepared to invest at an early stage as little as $50,000 in high potential businesses through Technical Assistance loans and then through multiple rounds of capital from $100,000 up to $2m.
We are committed to deliver significant changes to poverty and climate change. We back innovations, intent on showing how issues such as climate change, food security, water scarcity, ocean and land contamination, poverty, slavery, human trafficking can be addressed through commercially viable solutions.
Our commitment is through risk capital and time but also through contribution to publication and teaching.

UBERIS was founded in 2012 by Cyrille Antignac with a group of investors experienced in fund management and social enterprises.
This group included Pierre Tami, the founder of HAGAR Social Enterprise Group, a pioneer impact venture builder in Cambodia, Kim Tan, an acclaimed Social VC founder of Novastar, Inko and TBN and Anthony Orsatelli, former CEO of NATIXIS Asset Management.
In 5 years to 2017, UBERIS has backed early stages ventures in equity and debt using capital from its own financials and managed funds. It supported the Truestone Impact Fund (TIF) chaired by Kim Tan to invest in Southeast Asia by becoming TIF’s local investment manager.
Since inception, UBERIS has committed around $2.4m in supporting early-stage entrepreneurs in Cambodia, Vietnam, Laos and Myanmar. In addition, it also catalyzed $5m capital from co-investors.
In 2018, UBERIS opened its ranks to new partners and shareholders to develop a new Triple-Bottom Line fund, the UBERIS Impact Fund. This project is endorsed by USAID through a Technical Assistance facility managed by SwissContact.
UBERIS recently raised $1m new equity from its partners. It has a corporate presence in Cambodia and Luxembourg. Its team is located in Cambodia, its regional base.
